Iran Ranks 1st In Pharmaceuticals Technology In Region

Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA – Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Marzieh Vahid-Dastjerdi said here on Sunday that Iran ranks first in terms of pharmaceutical technology in the region and fifth in Asia. Addressing a ceremony marking the commissioning of Tehran Medical Sciences University’s projects, she added that only 12 countries possess biological medicines technology and Iran is one of them. Referring to unveiling of six new medicines last week, she also said that six others will also be unveiled soon. As to the health tourism, she said that Iran can serve as a health tourism center./end
