Bishkek, June 21, 2023. / Kabar /. State Secretary of Kyrgyzstan Suyunbek Kasmambetov met today with President of the International Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of science of the Turkic world were discussed.
Shahin Mustafayev spoke about the activities of the Turkic Academy, including scientific projects related to Kyrgyzstan. In particular, about the summer school for young Turkologists, held in Bishkek from June 19 to 26, in which about 30 young scientists from 10 countries take part.
In turn, Suyunbek Kasmambetov, noting the importance of further strengthening ties between the Turkic countries, added that he was well acquainted with the activities of the International Turkic Academy. He also stressed his intention to provide the necessary support for their further work.
Following the meeting, Shahin Mustafayev presented Suyunbek Kasmambetov with a memorable gift - the book of the epic "Manas" in the version of Sagymbay Orozbakov's Manas narrator, published by the Organization.
