AFC Agrees To Terengganu-Song Lam Nghe An Match At Night

KUALA TERENGGANU (Terengganu, Malaysia), April 21 (Bernama) -- The second round of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup between Terengganu and Song Lam Nghe An from Vietnam will kick off at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium here on Wednesday at 8.45pm. Terengganu Football Association secretary Abdullah Salleh said the matter was agreed upon by the AFC, as according to earlier schedule, the match was to have been held at 4.45pm. "We have requested to AFC to play at night for several reasons and the Asian football governing body has agreed to the grounds which we gave," he told Bernama on Saturday. On the match, Abdullah said Terengganu had a good chance to march into the second round if they won the game against Song Lam Nghe An. Terengganu, which is in Group F, has currently accumulated six points after winning two matches, and lost twice. Besides Terengganu, the group consist of Song Lam Nghe An, Kitchee FC (Hong Kong) and Tampines Rovers (Singapore). -- BERNAMA
