Al Khateri finishes fourth in Sharjah

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): Bahraini athlete Khalid Hilal Al Khateri has achieved a fourth place finish in the Ruler of Sharjah Showjumping Championship. He ranked fourth in the 150cm round as Abdulrahman Al Rajhi of Saudi Arabia took first place. Commenting on his achievement, Al Khateri praised the support and follow-up of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) to him throughout the event. The event is the first-of-its-kind to be held at Arab and MENA levels as it was organised in a covered field. The Championship featured the participation of 400 athletes, representing 37 countries from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Asia, Europe as well as USA.
