Arab anti-terrorism youth campaign launched

Cairo, May 15 (BNA): Youth and Sport Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowder took part, alongside his Arab counterparts, in launching an Arab youth campaign themed "No to Violence, No to Extremism, No to Terrorism". The drive was launched at the Arab League headquarters, in the presence of Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al Arabi.
The Youth and Sport Affairs Minister stressed that launching the campaign is an assertion of the Arab countries' keenness to protect Arab youngsters from being misguided by advocates of terrorism and extremism which pose a great danger to Arab and global security. He said that the Arab drive is in tune with the directives of the Arab leaders to organise programmes to contain the youth, tap on their talents and immunise them from terrorism, extremism and violence. He underlined the constant calls of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to ostracise extremism and terrorism by adopting youth-oriented strategies and initiatives to promote the culture of peace, tolerance and pluralism.
