Bahrain beat India 2-1 in friendly match

Manama, Mar.23 (BNA): Bahrain today beat India 2-1 in friendly match which was played at the Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium in Arab. Mohammed Al Hardan struck the first goal 37 minutes into the first half before Raul Shanka equalized in the 58th minute. Mahdi Humaidan sealed the victory for Bahrain, scoring the second goal 3 minutes before the end of the regular time of the match. The national team will play Burundi on Saturday (March 26) at 7 pm before taking on Belarus on Tuesday ( March 29( in two friendly matches. Bahrain is stepping up preparations to take part in the final qualifying round of the 2023 Asian Cup in June in Group E which also includes Malaysia, Turkmenistan and Bangladesh.
