Bahrain congratulated on MMA medal

Las Vegas: July 14 (BNA): Wisam Abi Nader, Director of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), congratulated the Arab representative in the International Federation, the Kingdom of Bahrain for its historic achievement of having Fahad Abdulrazaq winning the bronze medal in the Amateur category of the World Championship. Lebanon won a gold medal in the Heavyweight category of the World Championship, through fighter Charbel Diab in the ‘above 120 kilograms’ category. Lebanon participated in the World Championships with four fighters who managed to achieve positive results. Fighter Richard Saliba qualified to the second round after defeating Indian fighter Akshay, but lost the second round against American fighter Marco. Fighter Hani Alsardouk was unable to qualify to the second round after losing to New Zeland fighter Frank Leonardo, the holder of the bronze medal at the previous World Championship. Fighter Imad Alhowayeck did not participate due to an injury although he was present at the championships.
