Bahrain to host BRAVE1 championship

Manama, Sep. 22 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth & Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Founder of KHK MAA Organization, the Khalifa Sport City Gym Hall in Isa Town will host the first edition of MMA (BRAVE1) Championship. HH Shaikh Khalid has expressed his delight to launch the first edition of BRAVE championship which will be one of the international championships to be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The championship which will kick-start on Friday, September 23, will the experience the active participation of international MMA professionals to spread the culture of this sport among the various communities throughout the world. The championship will see the participation of MMA professional fighters from Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Egypt, Jordan, India, Iraq, Ireland, Mexico, Philippines, Russia, UAE and USA. The championship also aims to boost the participation of youths in this sport in accordance with the rules and regulations of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF).
