Bahrain meets Oman in Khaleeji23 today

Kuwait, Jan. 2 (BNA): Bahrain national football teams will meet the Omani team today in the semi-finals competitions of the 23rd Gulf Cup (Khaleeji23). Oman booked a seat in the semi-final of the Kuwait-hosted Gulf Cup Thursday after beating Saudi Arabia 2-0 at the conclusion of Group A matches, while Bahrain played a 1-1 match with Qatar on Friday qualifying to semi-finals of the Gulf-23 soccer competitions, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). Moreover, Iraq and the UAE football teams will also meet at Jaber International Stadium Tuesday at the semi-finals competitions of the 23rd Gulf Cup. The Iraqi team came on top of the group B after playing a draw match with Bahrain, beating Qatar and Yemen, while UAE team came second in group A with five points, KUNA reported.
