Bahrain's basketball progress reviewed

Manama, Apr. 24 (BNA): Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA)'s President His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa received Youth and Sports Minister Hisham Mohammed Al Jowder, and reviewed the association's progress and how to develop the game of basketball in the Kingdom. The meeting comes as part of HH Shaikh Isa’s continuous communication policy in his capacity as head of the association with various sports institutions in Bahrain to serve the general interest in the sector of youth and sports. HH Shaikh Isa lauded the unbound cooperation on the part of the minister and praised his efforts to develop the national youth and sports movement. The president of Bahrain Basketball Association also valued the support from the Minister of Youth and sports to the national basketball association, especially regarding the sports facilities and his support to the national clubs that reflects primarily in elevating the standard of the game.
