BTTA Women's Championship concludes

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa president of Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA), the fourth Women Table Tennis Championship took place from November 13 to December 4 on the Association's tennis courts in Bahrain Polytechnic in Isa Town, with participation of 62 players including Bahrainis and residents of other nationalities. Organised under the supervision of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA)'s Technical Committee and the Women Activities Committee chaired by Alya Abdullah, the championship included advanced- and medium-level individuals and doubles for beginners. Large crowds of spectators attended the matches, in the presence of BTTA board of directors members. Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, member of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairwoman of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)'s Women's Committee, Chairwoman of Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA), as well as members of the BTTA board of directors and representatives from Hawaj Ice-Watch distributed the cups to the winners.
