CLIMBER B.TSEVEENDASH RETURNS HOME

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An advisor to the President on public relations policy A.Ganbaatar Tuesday received B.Tseveendash IMS, the leader of the "Healthy Mongol Hiking" club who has returned home after reaching the Himalayas. B.Tseveendash, who headed this April 5 for the Mount Everest together with T.Gurragchaa, a State Honored Sportsman, gave back the advisor the State Flag that had been received from the President before the climbing. "We intended to climb the highest peak of earth under a slogan 'Friendly Ulaanbaatar and For Healthy Mongol' but could not do this because of the devastating earthquake occurred in Nepal. Actually, we reached a 7,180-m peak of the Himalayas, it is some 80 percent of our goal, bur the disaster, which claimed lives of thousands of people, made us stop the climbing," he said and added that they are happy to return home safe and sound.
