Date set for the first Nasser bin Hamad Cycling Tour

Manama, Mar.16 (BNA): The first edition of the Nasser bin Hamad Amateur Cycling Tour will be held this year on March 24-26, 2022. The competition will be organized under the auspices of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs , Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The three-day competition will be organized by the Bahrain Cycling Association, in cooperation with the Events company. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the importance of inspiring Bahraini talented youngsters to practise the cycling sport which would benefit the national teams in the future. He stressed the need to expand the number of sportspeople who practise cycling to tap into new promising talents and promote public health. Bahrain Cycling Association Chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa expressed delight at organizing the first Nasser bin Hamad Tour.
