Hakuho Davaajargal wins summer tournament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A State Honored Sportsman and Grand champion of professional sumo wrestling Hakuho M.Davaajargal captured the Emperor’s Cup after a final contest of the Natu basho (summer tournament) finished last Sunday in Tokyo. He won the Emperor’s Cup for the 25th time, making it equivalent to total wins of countryman retired Asashoryu D.Dagvadorj. He also has broken the record of most undefeated championships. At the final contest, Davaajargal beat Harumafuji D.Byambadorj, a Yokozuna title holder who finished the tournament with 11 wins and 4 loses.
