Hala Bahrain offers special welcome to F1

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA) : Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) has signed an agreement with Hala Bahrain company to provide meet and assist services during the Formula One Gulf Air Grand Prix 2018, the airport’s operator and managing body, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), announced.
Hala Bahrain will provide its premium services to all F1 stakeholders, including the drivers and officials, VIPs, and members of the media, who will be coming to Bahrain for the 3-day event. This includes practice and qualifying rounds on April 6-7 and the Grand Prix on April 8.
"This partnership between BIC and Hala Bahrain will enhance the reception experience for our Formula One guests at the airport," BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said. "It’s also an important partnership because Bahrain is renowned for being a hospitable country that maintains its tradition of receiving guests with a warm welcome from the moment they arrive until their departure. Our Kingdom has been upholding those values ever since hosting the first F1 race back in 2004, greeting visitors every year at BIC and BIA in our trademark way.
"This commitment to our hospitality values has generated a lot of praise from officials, drivers, and international visitors alike. Our agreement with Hala Bahrain reinforces this commitment, ensuring that we maintain this caliber of hospitality, which is the exceptional level of quality that BIC demands."
He also extended his thanks to Hala Bahrain for this partnership, and the role the company will play in representing Bahrain to the visitors and creating a streamlined and efficient entry for them.
BAC Chief Commercial Officer, Ayman Zainal said: "The agreement between Hala Bahrain and BIC is of great importance as it is linked to the most anticipated event in the Kingdom’s annual event roster. The airport will serve as Bahrain’s gateway, and will not only be receiving an influx of travelers who will attend the race, but also the drivers and officials associated with it, so it’s crucial to deliver a reception on par with the prestige of the event. This partnership also marks one of the first commercial agreements by Hala Bahrain, and follows its launch of hospitality and services to aid travelers and address their needs at BIA, as well as management of reception and arrival halls, which began earlier this year."
Zainal also thanked BIC teams for all their efforts in presenting Bahrain as a leader in organising international races that will contribute to furthering the success of Formula One.
The highly anticipated race is the second of 21 rounds on the 2018 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, following the season-opening meeting in Australia. More than half a billion fans from around the world are expected to watch the race.
