HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad receivs Minister, ZYC's team

Manama, Nov. 5 (BNA): HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First VP of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA), received Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder at His Highness's Majlis in Riffa. The minister introduced to His Highness members of the High Organising Committee of the third "Khalid bin Hamad Indoor (Gym Halls) Tournament for Youth Centres". Al Jowder also introduced to His Highness members of the Zallaq Youth Centre (ZYC)'s team - the winners of His Highness's tournament and the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB)'s – the sponsor's - representative. His Highness praised the organizational procedures led by the minister which contributed in the showcasing of the pageantry tournament and concluded its intended goals, which was to rally the Bahraini youth behind this tourney. His Highness directed the ministry for the need to early preparations ahead of the fourth edition of His Highness's tournament and to provide all cause for its success in all aspects. His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad congratulated the players of Zallaq Youth Centre, the administrative and technical crews on the occasion of winning the competitions title, lauding the efforts of players throughout the tournament and the great standard of their performance aimed to stand on the coronation platform and to hoist the cup. His Highness asserted the outstanding three previous editions which constitute the impetus for more attention to the contest which has now become one of the prime sports championships in the Kingdom of Bahrain in harmony with the vision of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports under the presidency of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
