HH Shaikh Nasser launches new programme for Bahraini youth

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has asserted that the support of Bahraini youth stems from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HH Shaikh Nasser indicated HM the King has always given directives to create platforms and challenges that provide opportunities to Bahraini youth to showcase their high potentials in various fields. This came as HH Shaikh Nasser gave directives to launch the "Qaddeha" (You Got This) programme, which will focus on highlighting Bahraini youth’s capabilities in endurance and strength. HH Shaikh Nasser asserted that the various programme targeting Bahraini youth are inspired by HM the King’s vision, wisdom and directives to create platforms in which Bahraini youth can showcase their distinguished capabilities and confirm their status as the kingdom’s future assets. "The Qaddeha programme is in line with the royal vision in the field of youth care and empowerment. It aims to highlight their abilities and talent in various fields, including strength and endurance. We always bet on the capabilities of Bahraini youth in creativity, which confirms that their metal is gold in various fields,” HH said, stressing his constant keenness to launch programmes aimed at discovering and honing the skills and talent of Bahraini youth. HH Shaikh Nasser said that the TV programme includes many challenges that would measure the participants’ endurance and capabilities, adding that the challenges would require competitors to have high physical and mental skills in order to be able to overcome them. The organising committee announced that physically-fit civilians who are 18 or above can participate in the first edition of the programme. The panel also unveiled that the winner will receive BD 10,000, while the second and third will get BD 5,000 and BD 3,000, respectively.
