Iran Minister Of Sports Arrives In Moscow

Moscow, Oct 30, IRNA - Iran's Minister of Sports and Youth Mohammad Abbasi arrived in Moscow on Monday for talks with Russian officials. His is in Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vitaly Mutko. Abbasi is to meet with Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Physical Fitness, Sport and Youth Affairs Igor Ananskikh. He will discuss issues such as expansion of Iran-Russia cooperation in the field of sports and exchange of experiences in different sporting events with Russian officials. The minister will also participate the sixth World Assembly on "Peace and Sport" in the Russian port city of Sochi, in Krasnodar Krai that will host the 2014 XXII Winter Olympic games and XI Paralympic Winter Games. Iran and Russia have promoted their cooperation in different fields of sports such as wrestling, football and futsal./end
