Iran wins Asian Parazurkhaneh Sports Championships

DUSHANBE,Dec.19(MNA) – Iran claimed the title of the first edition of the Asian Zurkhaneh Sports Championship on Saturday. Iran won the championship, seizing three gold medals and one silver in the competitions held at the Abolghasem Ferdowsi Hall. In the standing class, Arsalan Amini claimed two gold medals at the Kabbade and Meel Giri events. Shahab Bassamtabar, who had claimed a silver medal at the Kabbade event in wheelchair class, won the gold at Meel Giri. Iran team finished at first place with 39 points, followed by Pakistan and Tajikistan A with 33 and 31 points respectively.
