Iranian sprinter wins 100m race at Trackinsun Athletics

TEHRAN, Jun. 17 (MNA) – Iranian sprinter, Hassan Taftian, claimed the first place in the 100 meter race at Trackinsun Athletics in Hérouville-Saint-Clair of France on Thursday. Hassan Taftian of Iran clocked 10.25 seconds at the men’s 100-meter to claim the gold medal of Trackinsun Athletics in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, a suburban area in French city of Caen, on Thursday. In Asian Indoor Championships held in Doha of Qatar, the Iranian sprinter bagged home the gold medal in the men’s 60-meter race. He registered 6.56 seconds in the event. Taftian garnered the gold medal over 100 meters at the 2012 Asian Junior Athletics Championships in Colombo of Sri Lanka.
