Iran`s Zob Ahan defeats Naft Al-Junoob in Asian handball

TEHRAN,Nov. 13 (MNA) -- Iran’s Zob Ahan defeated Naft Al-Junoob from Iraq in the Asian Handball Club Championships on Saturday. In the match held at Dammam’s Hall of Youth Care Al-Qatif in Saudi Arabia, the Iranian representative defeated Iraqi team 24-19 in Group B. Sepahan and Zob Ahan from Iran participate in the Asian Handball Club Championships, which are taking place in Dammam, Saudi Arabia from November 11 to 20. A total of 12 teams are competing in the event. Group A consists of Lebanese Al-Sadd, Saudi Arabian Mudhar, Iranian Sepahan, Qatari Al-Ahli, Kuwaiti Fehaiheel, and Emirati Al-Ahli. Saudi Arabia’s Al-Khaleej, Lebanese Al-Sadaqah, Iran’s Zob Ahan, Qatari Al-Jaish, Kuwaiti Al-Shabab and Iraqi Naft Al-Junoob are in Group B.
