Khalid bin Hamad: Extraordinary results achieved by Bahraini Sambo Internationally

Manama, Nov. 15 (BNA): HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, expressed happiness at the result achieved by Bahrain Sambo National team member after Ramadan Kodzahakov collected the bronze medal at the 71kg category in the World Sambo Championship, held in Uzbekistan on November 8-14, 2021. His Highness said: "We are happy with this accomplishment which is added to the series of the honourable results achieved by the Bahraini sambo sport, which contributed to bolstering the Kingdom's position on the sports map," Furthermore, HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated Mohammed Ali Janahi, President of Bahrain Sambo Federation, and its members on the international achievement, praising the performance showcased by Ramadan who managed to add his name to the records of this global event. It's worth noting that Ramadan defeated Nour Paul of Kazakhistan en route to occupying third place in the Championship's 71kg category.
