Khalid bin Hamad reacts to Bahrain's historic achievement

Manama, July 19 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalfa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the founder of KHK MMA Organization, reacted to the historic and internationally acclaimed achievement by his amateurs' (KHK MMA) team representing the Kingdom of Bahrain,and fighter FahadAbdulrazaq getting third position in the third edition of World Championships of Amateur MMA. The event was organized by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) in cooperation with the Ultimate Fighting Championship "UFC", and held from July 5-10 in Las Vegas. HH Shaikh Khalid posted on his Instagram account (@KHALED_HAMAD_ALKHALIFA) a picture of KHK MMA fighter FahadAbdulrazaq draped in the Bahrain flag following his crowning with the third position medal, in the closing ceremony of the World Championship which was held last July at the Conventions Hall in Las Vegas. HH Shaikh Khalid commenting on the post, said: “It’s been a year and 3 months since I posted a picture of fighter FahadAbdulrazaq during his first Mixed Martial bout. I had then predicted that this fighter will have a bright future in the sport. Today he has achieved the third position in the World Championship for Amateurs. Abdulrazaqdid not disappoint and has succeeded in achieving this result, which we dedicate to His Royal Highness, King Hamad bin Isa AlKhalifa, ruler of the country and to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, and to all the citizens of the Kingdom.”
