Khalid bin Hamad's patronage of MMA game lauded

Manama, Feb. 29 (BNA): Bahrain's 13th in Middle East seeded professional MMA fighter Hamza Al Kooheji from the HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) Team will challenge the Saudi professional MMA fighter Abdulaziz Julaidan on Monday in Jeddah city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for the title of Desert Force22 and the championship's trophy. Al Kooheji lauded HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and the Founder of KHK MMA Organisation, citing His Highness's directives, support, encouragement and contribution to the Kingdom of Bahrain's becoming one of the advanced countries in the field of this world-class game and His Highness's and his team's presence and participation in numerous international championships. He also lauded the outstanding efforts of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, his huge and effective role in paving all suitable atmospheres to practice MMA and led to the spread and popularity of this game amongst Bahraini youths who began to establish local clubs for this game as per the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF)'s regulations and standards.
