Khalid bin Hamad's support to youth,sports praised

Manama, Sep. 20 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder has expressed his pride on being deputized b HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities in attending the closing ceremony of Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls. The minister highlighted the various contributions and initiatives of HH in the field of developing the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain. On this occasion, the minister said: "The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs has been keen to organise Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League in its fifth edition in a distinguished manner in all its aspects and to provide the appropriate environment for it to achieve the noble goals set by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for this pioneering annual sports event which came in line with the ambitious strategy of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, chaired by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee." He also highlighted the factors that contributed to the success of the fifth edition of league such as the direct supervision and concern of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and his directives to carry out all the administrative procedures to guarantee the success of the league. Al Jowder praised the key role played by the sponsors and partners of the league, affirming that the policies of the sponsoring establishments aim to develop the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom and empowering them.
