Kyrgyzstan bags 11 medals at Asian Wrestling Championships in India

Bishkek, Feb.24, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s athletes won 11 medals at the Asian Wrestling Championships.
The international sporting event took place on Feb.18-23 in New Delhi, India.
There are two gold, three silver and six bronze medals in Kyrgyzstan’s collection.
Greco-Roman wrestlers Azat Saladinov (up to 87kg) and Zholaman Sharshenbekov (up to 60kg) won silver medals.
Ilyaz Renat uulu (up to 77kg), Roman Kim (up to 130kg) and Ruslan Tsarev (up to 72kg) became bronze medalists of the championships.
Female wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan Aisuluu Tynybekova (up to 62kg), and Aiperi Medet kyzy (up to 76 kg) earned bronze and silver awards, respectively.
Kyrgyz freestyle wrestlers were able to win the first gold awards for the country. Ulukbek Zholdoshbekov (up to 61 kg) and Arsalan Budajapov (up to 79 kg) are Asian champions.
Bekbolot Myrzanazar (up to 57kg) and Islambek Orozbekov (up to 70kg) are on the third step of the podium.
