Kyrgyzstan earns 11 medals at tournament in Russia

Bishkek, Feb.17, 2020. /Kabar/. Greco-Roman wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan won 11 medals at an international tournament in Russia, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported on Monday. The competition was held on Feb.14-16 in Novokuznetsk (Russia). At the end of the competition the national team of Kyrgyzstan was able to win 6 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze awards. In the weight category of 77 kg the whole podium was occupied by representatives of the republic. Balbai Dordokov (up to 55 kg), Sultanbek Abdullayev (up to 72 kg), Kairat Tugolbayev (up to 77 kg), Atabek Azizbekov (up to 87 kg), Uzur Dzhuzupbekov (up to 97 kg), Murat Ramonov (up to 130 kg) became gold winners. Second place went to Dastan Kadyrov (up to 60 kg), Halmurat Ibragimov (up to 67 kg), Akzhol Mahmudov (up to 77 kg). Rustam Rakhmatullayev (up to 82 kg) and Ilgiz Bilimov (up to 77 kg) were awarded bronze.
