Leadership congratulated on Jiu-Jitsu medals

Manama, Aug. 8 (BNA): Chairman of Bahrain Martial Arts Association (BMAA), Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, congratulated the Kingdom's leadership on the National Jiu-Jitsu Team's winning gold and bronze medals in the World Open Championship organized by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) on August 6-10 in Seattle, USA, alongside with the participation of more than 500 contestants from all over the world.
Al-Khayyat ascribed the winning that culminated in hoisting the Bahraini flag at various international championship to the wise leadership's support.
He praised the support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC). He also praised the care and constant follow up of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa the First Deputy Chairman of SCYS and President of Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA).
He also congratulated the Bahraini player Ali Monfaridi, lauding the high capabilities of Bahraini players which facilitated the Kingdom of Bahrain's winning numerous medals, the latest of which were the golden and bronze medals in Seattle, USA, at the World Open Championship that proves the keenness of Bahrain players to showcase their capabilities and hoisting the flag at coronation platforms.
