Leadership congratulated on successful championship

Manama, Mar. 13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Honorary President of Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation has congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, thanking them for their unlimited support that contributed in the successful organizing of "Strongest-Bahraini-Man-Championship". His Highness appreciated the wise Leadership’s support to youth and sports, lauding the role and support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation, as the main driver of the championship’s success. HH Shaikh Khalid said: "This championship was born to live in order to encourage the community to practise sports especially the youth category, and strengthen the concept of accepting challenge and determination on competing, to create a generation of youths who have the ability to represent the Kingdom in various sports fields and competitions" Also, Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of Eastern Riffa Club, expressed his gratitude to the Leadership and to BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and to Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa the Royal Court’s Minister, for their unlimited support that enable him to gain the title of medium-weight category. He also congratulated His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa on winning the third position in the lightweight category, lauding His Highness’s support that ensured the success of this championship. Shaikh Khalid bin Salman Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of Bahrain Premier League commended the multifarious initiatives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad that mirror His Highness’s keenness on supporting Youths and Sports sectors in the Kingdom combining philanthropic deeds and sports activities.
