Leadership's support culminates in sports feats

Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): Bahrain Handicapped Sports Association's chairman, Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) on His Highness's accomplishment of leading Bahrain's Triathlon team in winning the title of IRONMAN 70.3 European Championship in the southwestern German city of Wiesbaden. He also congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser on the plausible achievement in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, through Bahrain's marathoner Eunice Kirwa who attained the second position on Saturday. He lauded the sons of Bahrain's achievements at various international sports competitions that reflect the generous huge support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. Bahrain's successive accomplishments which will continue thanks to this support and the constant follow up of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Kingdom's sports leadership, that drives the Kingdom's athletes for more sports feats that will culminate in hoisting the name and flag of Bahrain at the various international sports events, he said.
