Leadership's support to youth,sports hailed

Manama, July 11 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has officially been awarded the bronze medal during the conclusive ceremony of the third edition of UFC championship organized by the IMMAF in association with the UFC on July 5-10. The third place title was conferred on KHK MMA team member Fahad Abdulrazzak at the Conventions Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, in the presence of International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) president Garth Braun, IMMAF members and a large number of participating delegations. The historic win in the realm of MMA amateurs game was achieved by 57-kg Bahraini MMA fighter - Fahad Abdulrazzak - who won the third place, whence Bahrain has become the first Gulf country, second in the Arab world to achieve such result at this major international sports gathering. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS), Founder of the KHK MMA Organisation, has congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Government under the premiership of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the prime Minister, and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on Bahrain's unprecedented achievement at this international function, which translates the efforts exerted by the government through im0peoementaiton of vital projects that contribute in the interest of the youth and sports movement in the kingdom. HH Shaikh Khalid also congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) on this accomplishment which reflects the outstanding efforts exerted by His Highness through constructive plans and programmes aimed to continue the comprehensive development of the youth and sports sector which contributes in showcasing and hoisting the name of the Kingdom of Bahrain during various international participations. HH Shaikh Khalid praised the efforts of the technical and administrative crews who prepared the Bahraini fighter to achieve this spectacular result in the championship.
