McDonald’s signs deal with BOC

Manama, Apr. 10 (BNA): The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and McDonald’s Bahrain signed a bilateral cooperation agreement under which the latter will sponsor the former events. BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar and McDonald’s Bahrain marketing supervisor Donya Madara signed the deal at the committee premises in Seef. As per this the agreement, McDonald’s Bahrain will provide full logistic support and other benefits to various activities and programmes organized by the BOC. Askar expressed pride for this new partnership which the committee succeeded to establish with McDonald’s Bahrain, a company which has showed commitment to support different activities in the Bahrain society as well as initiating an active partnership with the BOC to boost sports in the kingdom. He noted that this particular agreement will contribute to build a solid cooperation with McDonald’s Bahrain to achieve further objectives and live up to the joint aspirations of both organisations. Donya Madara was also pleased with this cooperation between the two parties, which is part of the company’s pans to play an active role in supporting sports development programmes in the kingdom. She also commended the significant role of the Bahrain Olympic Committee in upgrading national sports, which has motivated the company to step forward for this initiative.
