Minister of Sports and Youth Launches "We All Have Responsibility" Campaign to Invest Youth Energies

Doha, October 10 (QNA) - HE Minister of Sports and Youth Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali has inaugurated Monday "We all have a responsibility" campaign at the existing Ibn Taymiyah Mosque sites in Bani Hajer area in the presence of a number of representatives from the ministries and authorities, including directors of youth and girls centers participating in the campaign. Following the inauguration ceremony, HE Minister of Sports and Youth toured the campaign sites and got briefed on the ongoing youth works that include afforestation and agriculture works in the courtyard of the mosque. A broad range of the state authorities have participated in the campaign, including the Ministry of Municipality, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Ministry of Endowments, Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Al Reyada Girls Center, Simaisma Youth Centre (Al Daayen) and AlWakra Girls Center. In this context, Director of Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth Fawaz Al Misifari said that the Ministry of Sports and Youth, which supports "We all have a responsibility" campaign, seeks to decorate and conduct urban free planting in the cities and walls of various regions across the State of Qatar, pointing out that the three-day campaign has been launched from Reyada Girls Center and will transition to the venues of Simaisma Youth Centre (Al Daayen) next week, whilst the last week of the campaign will kick off at AlWakra Girls Center. He added that the campaign intends to invest in youth energies in the area of offering societal and national projects that provide new prospects of societal action, in addition to developing the responsibility sense of youth, extending the communication bridges with the state institutions to further care for their vicinities and working to decorate them based on the campaign's aspiration. For her part, Director of Al-Wakra Girls Center Reem Al-Khater said in her statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the center engages in "We all have a responsibility" initiative in the presence of a wide range of the center's affiliates during the inauguration of this campaign to conduct the afforestation operations, indicating that AL Wakra city will receive this campaign during October with the participation of a host of the center's affiliates, including Al Wakra inhabitants with the objective of supporting the initiative and working collectively with one hand in the decoration and afforestation operations. For her part, Director of Girls Doha Center Sheikha Hussain Babsail spoked to QNA on the importance of the campaign that would contribute to decorating the state regions, noting the presence of significant number of audience to attend the inauguration ceremony, which underscores the youth's desire to implement such works to paint and decorate the courtyards, she pointed out. She hailed the selection of the Mosque courtyard of Ibn Taymiyah Mosque to hold the campaign inauguration ceremony which contributes to promoting the culture of reviving the Mosques. (QNA)
