Nasser bin Hamad congratulated on IronMan achievement

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa has congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Youth Council, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, on his qualification for next year’s Ironman World Championship. Shaikh Nasser was able to qualify for the international event, to be held in Hawaii in October 2018, after winning first place in the IRONMAN Middle East Amateur Championship which was hosted by Bahrain from November 23 to 25. Shaikha Hayat, BOC board member, Bahrain Table Tennis Association president and chairwoman of the Women’s Sport Committee, lauded his determination throughout the competitions, and wished Shaikh Nasser more success and accomplishments in the upcoming athletic challenges. Shaikha Hayat also underlined Shaikh Nasser’s remarkable role in promoting this sport in Bahrain as part of his efforts to boost the sport momentum in the kingdom.
