Nasser bin Hamad congratulated on IRONMAN European title

Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowdar congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCY) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), the leader of Bahrain Triathlon team on winning the title of IRONMAN 70.3 European Championship in the southwestern German city of Wiesbaden. The minister ascribed this new accomplishment by Bahrain's Triathlon team to the support and care of his Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the principal supporter of youth and sports movement in the kingdom and His Majesty's constant follow-up of the team throughout the various championships, lauding the leadership of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa who placed the Kingdom of Bahrain on the world map of triathlon sports. Al Jowdar also praised the Bahraini champions who accomplished numerous sports feats which contributed to hoisting the name and flag of Bahrain internationally at the various sports championships. He also commended the youth Bahraini sportspeople who are an example in standing up to the challenges, their persistence and determination to achieve at the various sports events, wishing His Highness and all Bahraini sportspeople more success in upcoming championships.
