National team earns medals at Jiu-Jitsu World Championship in UAE

Bishkek, Nov.18, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s junior jiu-jitsu team attended the World Championship among athletes under-21, the press service of the Kyrgyz Jiu-Jitsu Federation reported. The Jiu-Jitsu World Championship opened at Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City on Saturday and will run till Nov.24, bringing together the best Jiu-Jitsu athletes from all over the world on one elite platform. Kyrgyz athletes won two bronze medals at these competitions. Mahdi Giyosov in the weight category up to 62 kg became a bronze medalist, Shabdanbek Abdybekov became the third in the weight category up to 56 kg.
