National Wrestling Championship starts today in Bishkek

Bishkek, Jan.9, 2020 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Amateur Wrestling Championship is taking place today at Kojomkul Sports Palace in Bishkek. According to the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, the first to enter the arena will be wrestlers. Medals will be drawn in the 57kg, 61kg, 65kg, 70kg, 74kg, 79kg, 86kg, 92kg, 97kg and 125kg weight categories. The names of all the winners will be known tomorrow. Then, the strongest sportsmen of the country will be revealed by wrestlers of Greco-Roman style. Also 10 sets of medals will be raffled off. The opening ceremony will be held on Jan. 11. The following day, Jan.12 the Championship will be completed.
