NBHF organises 30km bicycle race

Manama, Mar 24 (BNA) -- Nasser Bin Hamad Foundation (NBHF) will organise its first 30km bicycle race on Durrat Al-Bahrain road on the 28th of March. The race is supported by Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. SCYS Chairman affirmed the race will be included within NBHF’s sports programmes and activities, which aims to spread the sport culture among different segments of the society and highlights its positive effects on human health. SCYS Chairman added the race will contribute to encourage sports spirit among citizens and residents, as well as creating a friendly competitive atmosphere. he called for bicycle clubs members and the public to participate in the race, confirming the NBHF is taking all administrative and technical procedures to ensure the success of the race.
