Ooredoo Cup 2022-2023 Season Semifinals, Finals Announced

Doha, October 16 (QNA) - Qatar Stars League (QSL) announced the schedule for semifinals of the 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup, after the last-four line-up has been finalized at the end of group-stage matches and the qualification of clubs Umm Salal, Al Sadd, Al Duhail and Al Arabi from Groups A and B for the knockout phase. The semifinals are to be played on March,23, 2023, with Umm Salal playing Al Arabi and Al Duhail facing Al Sadd, and final is scheduled for March,27, 2023. Al Duhail and Al Arabi qualified for group A, after ranked first and second, while Umm Salal qualified as the leader of group B with 13 points, and Al Sadd in the runners-up with nine points, teams: Al Gharafa (8) points, Al Rayyan (5) points, Al Shamal (4) points, and Al Markhiya (1) point were eliminated from the competition. Al Sailiya won the championship last year for the second time in its history, after beating Al Wakrah 5/4. (QNA)
