Qatar 2022/ Australian Coach Expresses Pride in His Players Performance

Doha, December 04 (QNA) - Graham Arnold, coach of the Australian national team, expressed his pride in the performance of his players, despite the loss, against Argentina 2-1, in the match that took place Saturday at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. In the post-match press conference, Arnold said "We need to spend money and get help from the government to put money into the game and help develop kids." Arnold also wants somewhere that can be a center for Australian football. "We need a home, something that the government can help fund for the development of the national team and the good of Australian football" he added. The 59-year-old Arnold hopes this Australian team will inspire a future generation. Concerning his future with the national team, Graham Arnold said that his contract with the Australian Federation has expired, and he will certainly discuss the future, but he wants to rest now after the long period of work.
