Qatar 2022/ England, Senegal Compete for Place in Quarter-Finals

Doha, December 03 (QNA) - England will face Senegal in the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at Al Bayt Stadium on Sunday.
The two teams qualified from the group stage after England topped Group B, while Senegal qualified after finishing second in Group A.
England topped Group B with 7 points. The Group B included the USA, Iran, England and Wales. England secured a 6-2 win in the opening match against their Iranian counterparts, played to a goalless draw against the US, and made a 3-0 win against Wales.
