Rashid Equestrian Club holds season’s 23rd race

Manama, Mar. 4 (BNA): The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club today held the 23rd race of the 2021-2022 season at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir. Their Highnesses shaikhs, representatives of sponsors and horseracing fans attended the eight-round race held over the cups of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC). Deputy Chairman of the GSA, HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa presented the trophies of the fourth, fifth and eighth rounds to Hadi Ibrahim Al-Afoo, Hussain Ibrahim Al-Afoo and HH Shaikh Sultah El-Dine bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, respectively. Meanwhile, REHC’s Executive Director, Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, crowned trainer Haidar Ibrahim, the winner of the second round, and HH Shaikh Hashim bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, the winner of the seventh round.
