Six Emirati school girls to participate in Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Abu Dhabi, april 8, 2013 (WAM) - Six Emirati girls from Abu Dhabi schools will participate in the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which will kick off next Wednesday. The event, which is held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will be held from 10-13th April 2013, at ADNEC - ICC Hall. 600 children from 28 schools in the UAE in addition to 50 children were invited from Brasil, US, Japan and China to take part in the event. Hundreds of fighters from over 50 countries converged in the capital to compete in the Jiu-Jitsu World Champion this weekend. With opening and closing ceremonies, merchandise stands and lots of entertainment and activities both on and off the mat, this is an event that the whole family can enjoy. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
