Tomoi Exponents from 12 Nations to Take Part in Kelantan International Thai Boxing Championship

KOTA BAHARU (Kelantan,Malaysia), June 14 (Bernama) -- International champions will be among 34 Tomoi exponents from 12 countries taking part in the "Royal Kelantan International Boxing Challenge 2012" to be here from July 1-3. State Tourism, Culture and Local Government Committee chairman Takiyuddin Hassan said participants from Malaysia, Myanmar, Australia, Algeria, China, Thailand, Holland, New Zealand, Iran, Costa Rica, England and Ireland have confirmed their participation. "Although, the championship had been held a few times before, this year it in conjunction with Visit Kelantan Year 2012," he told reporters at the Kelantan Trade Centre, here, on Thursday. The championship, which would be held at the Sultan Muhammad 1V Stadium, would have three categories, namely, super fight, title belt and special fight. "A special prize of US$500 (RM1,500) will be given out to the best participant of each night of the championship," he said. Takiyuddin said tickets priced at RM50 (US$15.69) a night (VVIP ticket) or RM120 (US$37.65) package for three nights for covered seats, RM30 (US$9.41) per ticket for one night or RM70 (US$21.96) for three nights for normal covered seats and RM20 (US$6.28) per ticket for one night or RM50 (US$15.69) for three nights, would be on sale starting June 25. -- BERNAMA
