Training courses calendar announced for 2016

Manama, Mar. 7 (BNA): The Sports Training and Development Centre, which is under the umbrella of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has approved its training courses calendar for 2016, aimed to qualify national coaches and sports officials within different sports organisations. The centre has already conducted an advanced handball training course from January 7 to 10, in which 65 coaches from Bahrain and abroad took part. A Level 2 course of the National Coaching Programme, organized in cooperation with the Coaching Association of Canada, is also lined up from January 25 to 31. More events are scheduled to take place next month, including a scientific seminar on February 13, physical literacy seminar on February 27 and a level 4 course from February 21 to 25. A series of Olympic Solidarity Committee programmes will be staged in March, starting with an international technical sailing course from March 1 to 5. It will be followed by another course from March 6 to 10, and a level 1 national Coaching Programme event from March 27 to April 2.
