GOASEAN Now On Mobile

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 (Bernama) -- Viewers of the world's first ASEAN-centric travel channel, GOASEAN, now have more opportunity to watch their favourite shows anytime with the launch of GOASEAN mobile application. The channel was launched by Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Minister Dr Mohd Salleh Said Keruak here Friday. The travel channel can be accessed from all over the world by downloading the mobile application for free for Android and Apple smartphone users. GOASEAN is a 24-hour channel and Malaysian-led initiative that was launched by Prime Minister Najib Razak during the 26th ASEAN Summit last April. It provides multiple promotional platforms to showcase ASEAN as a travel destination and a key economic driver. Salleh also launched the online travel booking system 'LetsGoNow', which allows users to easily book flights, hotels and airports transfers within their time and budget to travel to ASEAN countries. --BERNAMA
