HCT students excel at International Huawei Training Programme

Abu Dhabi (WAM): Students from HCT Sharjah Women's College have visited China where they were provided with hands-on technical training at the headquarters of Huawei, a global information and communications technology solutions provider. Students were sponsored through a long-time cooperative programme between HCT and Huawei, which is aimed at bridging the 'digital divide' by nurturing young talent and opening up ICT technologies for more communities around the globe. They were offered direct access to top research and development programmes as well as cultural immersion activities in the cities of Beijing and Shenzhen. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
