Iran joins five countries builders of fire-extinguisher vessels

Abadan, Oct 4, IRNA – Iran built and launched the first fire-extinguisher vessel, joining the five countries involved in building fire-extinguisher vessels. Iran joins five countries builders of fire-extinguisher vessels Managing director of Khorramshahr Shipbuilding Company said that the vessel has 29 meters length, 9 meters width and four meters height and is capable of sailing in high seas, ocean and river. Asadollah Rahmani said that market price for the fire-extinguisher vessel is five million dollars, while it cost 20 billion rials (one US dollars=34,500 rials). He said that this is the first ever fire-extinguisher vessel made and designed by Iranian technicians.
