RMAF Commended On Integration Of Jet Fighters Capability

LANGKAWI, March 20 (Bernama) -- Boeing has awarded the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) with a special plaque in recognition of the successful integration of 25X capability of the F/A-18D Hornet jetfighters. In a statement, Boeing said the plaque was presented to RMAF chief Datuk Seri Roslan Saad by Boeing officials during the 13th Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA'15) exhibition, here Thursday. Boeing defence, space and security, global strike F/A-18 international sales vice-president Howard Berry said Boeing is proud to partner the RMAF in upgrading the capability of the classic Hornets. "Designated ‘25X’ software configuration includes improvements of several critical components of the jetfighters in (strike) mission, communication and weapon systems," he said. --BERNAMA
