Weill Cornell to Launch 6th Biomedical Research Training Programme

Doha, September 06 (QNA) - Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatars (WCMC-Q) will launch in January the sixth edition of the Biomedical Research Training Programme for Qatari fresh graduates interested in field of research management to become clinical and biomedical researchers. The programme, launched by WCMC-Q in support of Qatar National Vision 2030, will continue for six months after which interns will get a participation certificate from the College and will also gain experience in world-renowned research laboratories. Intensive offered by the training programme, which is financed by the College, includes a certificate and salaries for all interns. The College manages the programme in cooperation with Qatar Leadership Science Programme of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF). The programme was established by WCMC-Q in 2011 to help build the new generation of highly educated professionals Qatar needs to develop a thriving knowledge economy in line with the goals of Qatar (QNA)
